Agreed, plus Akil was the first player in a long long time Wxm have signed with the future in mind. MFT seems to be second one and it is a good news story we have these 2 on 2 year deals. Akil was very hit and miss last term, often his second touch was a tackle, but he has obviously worked hard and improved his game. Despite not looking great at it pre-season, I still think Akil has all the attributes to be a good centre back, but for now he seems to be progressing to be a key member in our midfield, hopefully freeing up the other 2 players to getting the team playing higher up the pitch.
