To many had us down as Champions last October, let's not start in September this season, I'm impressed with the start Ricketts has made but I'm being cautious not to think 10 games sums the season ahead up.

But after 10 games better than we could of imagined pre-season when some numpties wanted him sacked because of no signings.

Believe me JND my positive outlook of previous seasons has been slightly curtailed. Over the moon with the points haul but not overly impressed with performances, except defence who are solid again so far. That said I am confident this squad will only improve.
What I am saying is its ok to look at other teams and think they are better than us. We always do it. If a striker puts in a few goals its a case of 'why didn't we sign him?'
We only watch WFC every week. The rest is just what we read or brief highlights. I put money on it that supporters of teams around us are thinking we are better than them. It just seems that some, not you, covet the other teams rather than get behind their own team.
Really agree we need another number 9.

Definitely not the best game of football anyone will see this season but we did just enough to win. Braintree weren't much cop but are big and streetwise so no pushovers.

Pyke was good when he came on, holding the ball up well and Rutherford's energy made a difference. Things seemed to happen more with him on the pitch.

Is he even unfit? He has been a mystery this season, none of the match previews ever quote him as being injured and Sam said 4/5 games ago in an interview he was champing at the bit to be involved. Weird he made the bench once and disappeared again.

Nope, not incredibly harsh just incredibly stupid.

Surely we'd have just terminated the loan if anything that bad? Weird. All I can think of is he either is injured albeit why have we not been told or he just doesn't train hard enough.

I think the issue with Hinds is purely the number of loanees that can be in any match day squad.5 i believe and no more.
Lainton Drew pyke and Beavon are 4 who will always make the 16 and today the 5th place was taken by walker

Braintree had reduced the width to.the minimum allowed.. Not first team to do that against us this season... That and not resettling the ground... Other teams are on to us and will spoil as much as they can

We dont play with much width anyway so I dont see the issue with this.
Same was said at Solihull.
