3rd choice kit?
 

I was wondering if there would be a need for a 3rd kit... If any teams have red and white home shirts ther would be a need for another shirt, similar to when we played Stoke in the fa cup

The fat boar seem to have already sponsored Shaun persons 3rd shirt?

Not sure there is / will be a need for a third kit - there is unlikely to be a clash of colours beyond the first two choices.

Talking about colour clashes I think Lainton's yellow keeper jersey was 'too near' to the Halifax 'high viz' kit the other night - should be a 'distinctive bold contrast' in my view.

However, the special purple kit as used in Portugal looked decent and something different - seemed well received by many - there was a whisper to suggest that it would be available for sale around January - personally think it could be a good seller if it was available in the club shop in the lead up to Christmas.

I don't think we need a third kit.

if we play a team with red and white stripes away, they merely do us the courtesy of wearing dark shorts and stockings and we wear all white. No problemo.

We could just as easily use last seasons yellow top, and the text of '3rd kit sponsor' is in yellow which would suggest that's what we are going to do.

But it would make commercial sense to release a 3rd shirt in the lead up to christmas and guarantee it will be worn in at least one match like we did last season.

Never released green shirt worn against Stoke... If we had won no doubt we would have....

The purple shirt seems popular.... Harchester United!! Some will be too young to remember who they are :huh2:
