The better half is singing in the choir for this on the Sunday, I've recently converted her to the cause and it's our pay days on Friday. It would have been easy to make a compulsive purchase that I don't really want or need related to the club given those circumstances. Ideally, we'd have a small presence there but it's finding the staff, transporting stock etc. I suppose if the club got a spot there then you'd end up with other local businesses not associated with food or drink bitching that they're not allowed a place in there to garner custom.

I know theres a couple of small local breweries like the Plassey around the area. Is there anyway the club can work with these to say have at some of the home games guest beers. Possibly not on tap but bottles (time saving?) or something like that.

Would get the club some god PR and help out local business.

We do have local brews at the ground NottsRed - Big Hand is on the trading estate - they also provide sponsorship for the games. A lovely pint too.

And of course the great world famous Wrexham Lager

Ah no probs. With having to drive to games most of the time I haven't really been paying attention to the bar areas.

It can be several hundred pounds at some events. Setting up a stall isn't just a matter of driving down and turning up either. It would be doubtful whether the cost of the stall and the logistics of organising staffing, stocking etc would make it worthwhile at something like a Food Festival.
