Let me remind you that Sutton finished 3rd last season and have only lost twice so far this season, so obviously a very decent team. To say something like ‘champions wouldn’t get beat 3-0 by them’ is totally ridiculous. Remember when Macclesfield got thumped 6-0 by Fylde? These things happen and it’s how you react which is the most important thing.

Most teams who win their respective leagues don't get thumped 3-0 by anyone. I still think we're good enough but Sam needs to decide on his best eleven.

We were very poor today and the defeat was not down to the plastic pitch. We gave the ball away almost every time and were dispossessed in almost every challenge.

The penalty appeared to be given for what appeared a needless pull or a push and the 2nd goal came about because a clearance in the 6 yard box went straight to the attacker. We had a couple of efforts wide of the target which did not trouble the Sutton goal-keeper. No one played well but I thought Luke Young showed some spark when he came on.

The gate consisted of 380 Wrexham fans. Hope they have a safe journey home.

Do we make too big a deal about playing on 4G pitches? In the week before we play on them the whole narrative in the media and forums is about how we're going to cope. Maybe that gets into the players heads and we're often beaten before we set foot on the field. Surely it doesn't make that big a difference but our record on them is awful.

No they don't. They play on a pitch identical to the Emirates that Arsenal pay for because their youth and women's teams play there.

We lost, get on with it. Everybody has a bad day at work and players are no exception. All the whining and moaning in the world wont change the result so try and make sure it is a rare event. Last week world beaters, this week not fit to burn.....get a grip people

Average teams have bad days at the office. If we are going up we can't afford many more, so Tuesday has to be good.

‘ Plastic crap’was a quote from the poster I was responding to not my opinion. Boreham Wood have a 5G pitch, Sutton only have a 3G pitch. The difference between the various generation artificial pitches is negligible compared to the difference between plastic and grass.
