Good result today. Barnet aren't a bad team so a win, even if at home, is a good three points.

It was a game of two halves. First half we were the better team by a country mile. 2nd half Barnet looked the most likely to score.

Beavon was so good today. He was a constant nuisance, harrowing and hassling the Barnet defence and was the difference between the two teams. By far the best player on the pitch today for me.

I was worried about the referee. I recognized his name and that's usually bad for a ref. He could have given multiple pens in the first half (the high foot one was stonewall in my opinion) but he wasn't the worst ref we've had all season.

Hope Holroyd's injury isn't serious. He was good today aswell.

The last 20 minutes felt like watching Dean Keates' Wrexham but it's nice to know we can still grind out a result.

Thought we scraped the win in a poor game.Dont know what has happened to Drew he was again disappointing.Big mike booked again? Guess he is suspended for 2 games now?

JMD wasn't great, I'll give you that.

But compare the game to before Holroyd went off and after. Fondop was poor today, but in the first half especially Holroyd looked decent, and he played a vital part in the goal by making a clever run to give Beavon the opening he needed.

Yes, JMD poor again, Beavon MoM for me. I didn't notice Fondop getting booked but if he did it will be 1 match suspension.

Fondop??? I hope he scores soon as the longer his drought goes on, the harder it is getting for him. Would still like to see him start next week and hopefully he could bag a couple.

I thought Beavon was one of the best players on the pitch today but I can't argue against Roberts getting the MOTM.

JMD was crap as usual, looks like he’s knackered, playing in the 120th minute from 5 minutes in. Holroyd didn’t lose a header in the second half, some decent knock downs, one of his better performances for a while.

seems like big mikes forms dropped off a bit,its like having a a child in a formula 1 car ,got all the attributes but cant make it go,he needs to learn off an old center forward a bit, dont mean bevon , more like a Danny Wright type, his confidence has gone, i hope he gets it back,doesnt look like scoring at all

It seems the ‘Fondop Appreciation Threads’ have dried up, he’s starting to look like his highlight reel on YouTube and that’s not good. For us to go up we need ruthless in front of goal and once again it will cost us, Beavon should be starting ahead of Fondop all day.

Wasn’t great. He wasn’t even average. For someone with ability and pace his attitude is poor. Continually out of position and not taking up the role wide right.
Decision making is poor and why isnt he taking on his man?

Too many 6/10s today. Pearson, Carra and Roberts all solid enough. Beavon worked hard and thought Holroyd won his share of headers.

However no pattern to our play and still a hoof from the back.
Midfield no composure and a general all round lack of a goal threat.

Grinding out some results will give us a play off chance but squad/team changes needed come Jan. Dread to think what we would be like without Pearson and still no sign of extending his contract.

3 points though so must be ok
