The thread is called ‘reaction’ and its a debate on the game. Everyone is more than pleased with 3 points but the issues are lack of goals and a few players not making good enough contributions.

Are you happy with the normal fade away when it counts as were in the same position. Sam has improved us and makes good use of subs but I feel some players are letting him and themselves down.

P.S. Fondop not booked
Barnet lost at Orient last away match .And i am sure ref held the yellow card towards mike when he fouled someone.Official text also said he was booked

Decent win, did enough!
Thought Carra had a great game today.Jennings might not get straight back into the 11,IF he's fit next week.Like Beavon too,all energy [and not headless chicken stylee!],and uses the ball well. For me,Beavon,Pyke and Holroyd up top,if everyone's fit.JM-D and Big Mike as impact subs ATM.

Not a great game and one we deserved to win but we made hard work of it. JMD Beavon both missed sitters, JMD missing the easiest one. Just didn't click today but a win is a win.

New striker is an absolute must.

We should have been 2-0/3-0 up and cruising, which meant we would have avoided the nervousness at the back. The effect of failing to take chances permeates throughout the team, meaning during defensive duties you’re far more worried, uncomfortable and nervous than you should be - subsequently you start making mistakes and lose shape.

We’re asking far too much of Big Mike. A raw talent that hasn’t played that much professional football, hence his total lack of a footballing brain in the various contexts of a game. He may come good eventually, but only with an incredible amount of hard work and hours of practise. It’s time we just haven’t got if we want to be promoted this season. We need an experienced head who has goals in his locker, someone to lead the line that would also get the best from the attackers around him.

Unless we get a striker in as our main man, we simply won’t score enough to pip Salford or Orient to the title.

Complete rubbish. We’ve only lost twice this season to two good teams in the top 6, the players we have are performing very well in the main. Let’s not forget this is pretty much a whole new side put together and the fact we’re 3rd at the end of September is testament to the hard work displayed. Fondop aside who has seemingly lost his way (he is still young mind) the squad is in very good form and are certainly not letting themselves down. I feel we will only get better and a 1-0 win with a key defender missing is extremely pleasing.

'John Still's side had won three previous away games but were second best as the hosts missed several chances to extend their advantage.'

Damn the BBC and their grammar, they misled me.
