After 14 games we are 2 positions higher, have 5 more points, won 2 more games, lost 1 game less and have a 7 goal better goal difference.

This performance would have put us 2 points clear at the top of the league, Macclesfield led with 26 points.

2 teams were in the top 7 last year and this year, ourselves and Sutton. There was only a 5 point gap between 1st and 13th, this year it’s 11 points.

Tranmere were 18th with 16 points and Woking, who were relegated were 3rd with 25 points. Chester were bottom.

That's really interesting, good work. Just shows how fickle the league can be and how one or two good players in average teams can completely change the form..

Very good post. It's a higher standard this time around.

It's always weird to me that whenever Wrexham improve, so does the league on a whole. We've never been lucky enough for us to improve at the same time as the league on average gets worse, if that ever happens I think we go up as champions.
