Agreed, Walker also seems to be blowing one out after the hour mark. In Beavons' defence, he is the most intelligent of the front three and his work-rate is high considering he is the oldest. There were several occasions when was chaing down whilst Pyke was ambling about. Fitness levels need to be upped and a left-back and another striker are a priority in January.

Thought he was excellent first half but faded very fast in the second.

We played some good football today, just couldn’t score but their keeper was decent. Young, Pyke and JMD were outstanding and Walker, Carra, Beavon also played very well.

Very strange game. Could have been 6-0 on another day, but we again looked on the back-foot for the last 30 minutes.

For all his faults and frustrations, Maguire-Drew was our most creative player today, whilst Beavon worked really hard up front and was my MotM.

It was 3 points, and we move on. But the midfield is still not working, and the more I see of Lawlor the less convinced I become.

Two tricky away games either side of an important FA Cup Qualifier. Need to win all 3.

Finally, where is Hines? If he couldn't get on the bench today he must be one very naughty boy!

Very different to last season. We didn't score many last season because we didn't create that much. We created plenty of chances today, just didn't finish them.
