With regard to your final sentence....maybe a word from our Commercial Manager might be appropriate.

There was no 50/50 draw last Saturday , for the first time in living memory , due to the organiser's illness. Hardly , in my opinion , " an issue that needs addressing".
Our Supporters groups all do fantastic voluntary work for the Club. It would be a mistake , I believe , to turn on each other and be hypercritical.

Not turning on anybody just would have thought that a contingency would be in place for such an event.

I meant on this thread not the subject. You seem very agitated on this thread when your usual posts are quite balanced. Have we touched a nerve.

As I have commented the WSA appear to be at a comfort level and directly this does not affect the club in terms of revenue that is budgeted for.
I only posted a couple of suggestions and you would think that the whole WSA structure has been called when you read the defensiveness.

I can't claim to have read all through this thread, but I find it hard to believe anyone is criticising any supporters group for their fundraising efforts.

To suggest a group is in it's comfort zone as some sort of criticism is crass in the extreme. Supporting the club is supposed to be fun, it's our hobby, a pastime. We should do it because we love it, anyone who volunteers to raise funds should be applauded by the rest of us who for whatever reason just pays our money on matchday and expects everything else to magically happen around us.
The 50/50 draw has been raising money regularly and consistantly for as long as I can remember, nearly, and deserves a standing ovation and unquestioning thanks and support.
