I've heard there are rare bats nesting under the stand on the old kop, the ref has heard about this and being a conservationist asked for them to be on to help them keep warm during their nesting period.

unfortunately that's the case, I was talking to an Electrician from Llloyd-Morris who's been working on them and he said they're basically knackered and they're just patching them up, sealing them with silicone etc, he said the directors have said they won't throw any more money at them so whether there's plans afoot to replace them I don't know.

Whatever they do will cost money as we have no other alternative we have to have floodlights, I wonder could they be rewired and leds installed or are the pylons rotten to? Another big expense to come out of our budget either way,the ground is a moneypit that's why The Uni has passed the buck onto us.

Make some money on them and sell them off to the fans like the Club did with the barriers off the Kop.

Ideal framework for those who like climbing plants in their garden, let's see who the die hard fans with the most understanding wives are

I am led to believe that LED,s would not effectively light the pitch if they were installed on the current columns as they are too high.
The only option would be to install LED's on the roof of each stand which may require some structural work.
Suggests to me that the club have a long term plan for ground development which will incorporate new lighting, wiring etc.
