Ive only seen him doing warm downs with the squad and he looks pretty swift doing sprints. I hope to see him soon as he needs to play and not sit every game out
Thank you for the update
It's a shame for you that he hasn't played yet
He's only played in our first XI once, that was last season in the first round of the league cup where he looked at home in the midfield where he scored a cracking goal against Plymouth Argyle.
Reviews from his Cheltenham loan were mixed but hopefully he will get some game time going forward and bring goals and great performances to you

When it was announced he was leaving on loan, the feedback was mixed with many believing he was ready to be around the first team squad this season

We currently have 7 loans players but can only have 5 in a match day squad

Laiton, Pyke, Beavon, JMD and Walker are regular starters therefore take up those 5 spaces. So unless 1 of the 5 gets a suspension or long term injury I doubt he will play at all, same with Burgess.

He might get lucky and get a game in the FA Trophy

It’s true though. Over the last few years it’s become the norm. Granted there’s only two that spring to mind this year but it still begs the question why it’s happening here year after year.

Who are you refering too specifically?

You are making out its a problem with the club but I am not so sure. Re Hinds, it seems as if its the opposite, nothing to do with the club.

Because there is no long term strategy at the club from a football point of view. This plus a neglected youth system and a handful of players earning the lion's share of the money means heading for loans who are always streaky. In the case of Hinds there is plenty of chat about why he misses out but it's clearly not about football or he'd have been on the bench on Saturday (note that there were no forwards there when he normally picks two).

The loan market is doing the job our youth set up used to ie supplement the first team squad.

Much like the derelict Kop and the those student flats, it’s a legacy of the last 15 years.

I honestly don't know what your first statement means sorry. They appoint a young coach who was serving under a manager who is now proving to be capable of keeping a side like Wolves in the top flight. He seems happy with their backing in terms of recruitment - what more can they do ? The youth system is for me a difficult one as I am sure its costly and may cut into the playing budget.
