Something to do with more important getting his players ready for a match I reckon. All that being with the manager prematch thing is a bit snobby.

Maybe we just get Nick to read out his programme notes!

Bizarre suggestion. Don't think Nick has had an opportunity to ask him any questions.

Our FPA was told before the start of the season that the manager would not be making himself available for interview and , of course, we respect his decision. It was suggested that Barrow or Darlington might attend instead but that hasn't happened either. It's just a personal view but I think something from the Bamfords experience has been lost as a result.

Fat Boar for the burger and WxM lager. Walk to the game. Then back to the FB afterwards

Personally I feel the manager and his backroom staff should get on with the job we want them to do - managing and preparing 16 athletes especially in the hours leading up to kick off - they surely have enough to do and should remain focused on that task.

Perhaps the 'pre match' experience should be left to the likes of Nick Hencher, former players / managers and perhaps the inclusion of injured and suspended players not included in the match day squad.

I can really see the appeal of having the management team at Bamfords but for the greater good......................

I have booked Bamfords (Hartlepool) for a party drawn from management and support for our local Club, Carno F.C. A lot of players are paid to play in our league but our players play for the enjoyment of the game and the comradeship of being in the team. Poor start this season but we normally finish in the top four.

It would have been interesting to hear Sam before the game, it is still advertised as a feature of the 'package'. However it is far more important for him to be available to his players than to us over a bowl of soup.

We all share the same single aim for this season - everything should be focused on promotion.
