Re: FA Cup replay Tuesday night
Was thinking the same myself - the Hayes travel Stand will be available for Wrexham fans - why not just state the Tech End will be closed ?
If so I think this is a massive own goal by the club. In the past there has been an outcry when we hand over the Tech End to facilitate the away support - now we seem to be giving the most atmospheric part of the ground up when we don't have to. Some will argue a low attendance will be anticipated for an FA Cup 4th qualifying round replay and quote cost effectiveness with the saving of stewards and turnstile operators at the Tech End - however the greater picture is we should do all we can to get past Harrogate and onto the next round - this action might not do us any favours - it is after all the FA Cup not the first round of the FA Trophy. Once again the Tech Enders are shafted. |

Re: FA Cup replay Tuesday night
Hopefully we've done the hard work and brought them back for a replay where we should have home advantage.
But that advantage is being diluted already before a ball has been kicked. Displacing our most vocal and noisy support - football fans are creatures of routine - can't see any other club than us doing this. Some are already saying that if the Mold Road Stand is the only option they wont bother attending on Tuesday night. Give us the option and we'll vote with our feet - it's the FA Cup - we should do all we can to harness home advantage not hamper it. |

Re: FA Cup replay Tuesday night
Maybe the quick turnaround has something to do with it?? Stewarding and catering have to be hastily arranged? Yes there was always a chance of a replay but just 2/3 days is not a lot of time.
Is it official just the 1 stand open? |

Re: FA Cup replay Tuesday night
Or alternatively the club should plan for a replay then if it hadn't been required take off the arrangements rather than try and put it together from zero.
Is it official ? there's a hint of it in Geraint Parry's match report on the official site but I have not seen anything concrete as yet. |

So it's just a hint at the moment...froth alert I guess the safety committee will have to have a meeting tomorrow to see if we can get enough stewards, turnstile oppos etc. |
