You'll be amazed how enjoyable it is but don't be surprised or upset if some 10 year old calls you baldie, fatty, slow coach et al!

I was a ref for the NEWRA and in the wrexham district league for 4/5 years but unfortunately had to stop as moving on to university but your right referee numbers are lower than ever and they are desperate for new refs to come through. Referees in the national league are poor and we can't expect a really high standard of officiating but I think what frustrates fans the most is things that everyone in the stadium can see other than the referee that are clear as day including decisions for and against us are incorrect on a weekly basis and that is what is most annoying. We've been lucky on a number of occasions this season as well as extremly unlucky, maybe decisions do equal themselves out over the course of the season.

I assume we will have the same ref on Tuesday as we had yesterday and it will be interesting to see if big Mike Fondop will get any decisions in his favour to balance out what went against him yesterday! The ref seemed to have taken a dislike to him and was determined not to give him anything.

Fondops been unlucky with decisions this season, every game he gets penalised for simply being a big lad and for holding his ground, unfair imo

ref got it all wrong yesterday with Fondop all though if every ref gives decisions against him as this trend develops, makes me think he probably is doing something wrong.

He won the ball in a strong challenge and the player went over him.
Most blatant error was in the last few minutes when we were actually trying to win the game. Their Centre back outjumped Pyke(I think) and the ball went off his head over the goal line. Gave a goal kick instead of a corner to us.

I thought it was a very harsh booking. Their player did the same early in the second half and just gave a free kick.

It’s just the inconsistency in a game I find frustrating on obvious points.

Just seen the highlights...

Our first goal that was disallowed Fondop just jumps with the defender who falls to the floor, we then put away the ball in the net. No foul...never be a penalty the other way would it?

Then No.20 pushes Fondop into the goalkeeper who then goes crying to the ref?? Penalty for us if anything.

Then Fondop gets himself under a high ball into the box and the keeper completely wipes him out after being nowhere near the ball?? Clear penalty that one yet again the ref bails out and gives a free kick to the keeper.

Then we have the off side goal ruled out way after Fondop originally got the ball. Only ruled out after the ball is in the net??? Very very late flag!

Conspiracy or just a poor referee.
