Agreed. Happy to be coming away from all Wrexham games feeling positive and that we’re really making an impact in all competitions.

Lainton - 8 A couple of very good saves towards the end - didn't seem troubled
Carrington 7 - nothing spectacular just a solid game from him
Lawlor 8 - even when they brought Beck and Muldoon on he didn't seem troubled
Roberts 8 - was everywhere and seemed to relish the contest
Jennings - 7 great going forward but left open spaces when he could've blocked the cross

Walker 7 - he loves the ball on the floor and is excellent passer but can be a bit lackadaisical on times

JMD 5- started off well but the free kick apart, the game seems to pass him by
Young 7 - some excellent interceptions and a great finish for the goal
Akil - 6 hope he's ok seemed to be running around without purpose in the first half but more structured 2nd half.

Beavon - 8.5 deserved a goal for his efforts and my MOTM. Wins so many headers and when Fondop came on he looked more comfortable on the right of the forward line
Pyke - 6 was very good 1st half but was quieter after the break. Did his job well.

Fondop - 7 when everyone was shouting at him to shoot he laid the ball into the path of Young who scored. Great hold up play
Rutherford - 7 - you know what you get with Rutherford. Full of running, disrupting the play and setting up attacks. He did that very well.
Burgess - Hadn't seen him before but looked ok - not on long enough for a score.

SDR/GB/JJ - great work. They figured out how to beat Harrogate who looked spent at the end of the game. Consensus of opinion is that they won't be near the top for much longer playing like that.

Decent game especially 2nd half.

Lots of changes to rest players again and yet we come up with the result....

Harrogate tbh are a very good well organised team.....just looked at their stats for 2018/19 and they are extremely good. Home and away they have been exceptional.
