Jennings - 8 great going forward
Roberts - 8 great at cb MOTM
Lawlor - 8 Solid game

JMD 5 - other than free kick was poor lost the ball multiple times
Young 7 - great finish for the goal
Akil - 6 Good finish but struggled at times
Walker - 7
Beavon - 7
Pyke - 6 quiet tonight

Fondop - 7 did well when came on
Rutherford - 7
Burgess - N/A

Overall a good win, much better second half than the first

The introduction of Fondop changed the game, fair play. It brought Beavon into the game more who was superb.

I thought Walker had a very good game too.

Agree with those ratings on the whole. Roberts is a natural defender so did ok on that position. I think 6 for Pyke is generous though - are you sure he was actually playing ?

uninspired first half, didn’t create much besides JMD’s free kick. Much better second half, different team. Thought Beavon was class when moved to the wing, caused havoc down that right wing.

Defence looked shaky first half but rarely troubled second half and was solid, Roberts was quality at CB as mentioned.

Jennings has always been better going forward than actually defending and had a good game in the more advanced position.

Young worked hard and got his goal with a wonderful finish. Thought Akil was too easily pushed off the ball but what a goal, not quite sure what it was, a side scorpion kick? Hope he recovers from he head injury quickly.

Felt Pyke was close to scoring a few times but just couldn’t quite grasp it.

Enjoyable match second half and shows we can actually play football when we want to. Roll on Chesterfield and Weston Super Mare.
