The point about the BBC isnt nationalism or even patriotism its about the inequality of the north/south divide.
Yes league teams will always get more exposure and thats true even with sky sports/EFL highlights etc. but the north/south problems go deeper than just sports.

Then again the local WCBC doesnt give a flying F about the club either so what chance do we have with WAG. WFA or the BBC.

As usual we fight on our own.

What would you like the organisations listed to do to help Wrexham AFC in practical terms?

BBC Wales covers the main populous of South Wales - it does not represent us - we are much closer to the North West where many of us work / shop . visit.
If you have a TV aerial fitted most installers will latch onto the North West option for a proper reception.
I have little interest at all in what goes on in the South Wales valleys the other side of the country any more than I do in Somerset - I suggest the majority down there think the same about us.
I have long given up on them - there are far better local alternative options.

It's all about location and sadly cost, with BBC Wales opening a new HQ it would have been nice to have a more central location rather than Cardiff. Failing that HQ's in the North and South, even more feasible with the license fee funding S4C too, with Caernarfon in the running for the S4C HQ which is going to be in Carmarthen. Both already share a great deal of resource anyway, but I guess that's far too forward thinking and would help both cover Wales far better in their output.

The BBC were forced to move some of its operation to Manchester like, a shame BBC Wales weren't forced to so the same. BBC Sport is now based in Manchester and personal I've noticed more of a Northerner output in their content, particular when it comes to football, both Manchester clubs seem to have somebody doing an in depth interview every week at the expense of others, so again I don't think the BBC have achieved the objective being more inclusive of the wider nation as set out.

One idea might be for the club to give BBC Wales some of the excellent content the media team produce so they can use it as they wish, until we get to the Championship don't expect equality. The Sports reporters are all South Wales based, we could as an audience push for one based in the North, as the costs of sending one up here for a 30 second piece with Sam Rickett's isn't worth it to them.

So...any idea if any of the reported £11m from the Euros that was going to be invested has found its way to us? Colliers Park - what has happened with that?
Have the WAG or WCBC done anything further with helping to safeguard the Racecourse or to assist with a new ground?

I am just giving some high level thoughts here and there is plenty that can be done.

I don't quite know what your beef is with Colliers Park. Wrexham AFC could not afford the rent and the FAW have stepped in to improve the facilities. With regard to developing the Racecourse or building a new ground then the onus , surely, is on the Club to prepare plans and seek appropriate grants. Ha the Club submitted plans to anybody for anything?

No beef with Colliers its just one thing the Welsh FA could have done to help us.

Not sure what your beef is with these institutions that have basically ignored us at times when we needed help. And continue to do so.

BBC Wales has staff and offices / studio a stones throw away from the ground in the uni.

The beef is Wrexham FC built it with its own money. Glyndwr, as with the Racecourse, wanted a premium price for a facility the club built and they ruined. They have cashed in and the club is on the outside. So what next? You’d hope an acceptable deal to enable a return, given the club’s importance and the fact that Colliers wouldn’t exist as someone else’s opportunity now if it wasn’t for the club’s actions. It’s idealistic to the point of naive to hope for a resolution in the club’s favour but despite that there are institutions who have to carry the can for that situation.

Given past acts I suspect there are things going on behind the scenes to look at this issue. If the club advertised this too widely we’re only ever back to back defeats away from a “why aren’t we focusing on the team ffs” shitstorm.
