Lol! He scored loads of goals, and scored some of the best goals for Wrexham I have had the privilege to see.

Superb player and worth every penny of those wages.

Yet he’d still score more than Fondop now

Fondop has time to improve but I think he needs to get back to basics.
All this penalty stuff needs to be sorted by Sam as well to get Fondop to concentrate on his performances.

I think he just needs a goal. However the lack of creativity from midfield isnt helping. I would look to give Hinds a go out wide as Drew isnt delivering at the moment. Maybe Fondop and Beavon as a front 2 would be more effective at the moment.

I don’t think any one would have a problem paying £1,400 a week to a guy who scores 25-30 goals a year. If it gets you promoted it should be a no brainer. Wish we would lean forward a bit more and take steps like this.

1400 is staggering.

Not that we’d pay a goal scorer that much.

But there was nothing in his record that would suggest

a) he could be that guy
b) he deserved to be paid that much.

Admittedly he had a decent season but it’s still a decent wedge.

You can’t mention JL without mentioning Mark Williams who was the workhorse who fed him most of his goals

They were one of those partnerships that just seemed to work, despite the obvious lack of footbaling talent.
Then Dean Saunders in all his infinite wisdom decided to break it up because JL didn't work hard enough.

Was it not because Marc broke his foot.

I believe mentally JL took this very badly. And was never the same player for us.
