On the contrary, there was loads of talent in there. If Louis could have been even halfway professional he’d have torn up the leagues, those 18 goals didn’t just hit him and go in. The Marc Williams purple patch defies belief but he really looked a player on the up and he had a hell of a skill set. I can only think he (and his brother) didn’t kick on as they both ran like they were in quicksand.

What people are forgetting was this was £1400 10 years ago. Not sure what that was turn into today.

As for splashing the cash in January yes we may have some money but its never greatest selection available.

He didn't score 25-30 for us and he would be on considerably more than 1400 a week now.

if you work in a normal job, it would be less as for the those years we have had a tory government that has ripped off workers pay

I believe mentally JL took this very badly. And was never the same player for us.

Possibly but Saunders was always overly critical of Louis IMO, always seemed to focus on a lack of effort. Perhaps more out of frustration as maybe he saw something in him but maybe wasn't the right approach to take.
