Seems if we need to be a fan managed club, let the fans pick the team in weatherspoons after 6 pints of Guiness.

Not at all. Firstly I would be looking at my best starting 11 every time, rotation is fine but for me it goes hand in hand with individual form.
If you don't keep up standards both personally and the team then someone else should get a chance.

Fondop seems a delicate character and as such could benefit from a run in the team now - say 3 or 4 games to at least try and establish some sort of form. Beavon I think has improved as the season and his fitness has progressed so that probably means a rotation between JMD, Pyke and Holroyd.

The midfield is basically perm 3 from the 4 and the back line picks itself bar injury/suspension.

Lol that tickled me, a lot whingeing about Tuesday need to stop and think it's been a 2 games a week for 2 wks these players are non league for a good reason & we can't expect very good performances and above every game,Tuesday night a few players looked drained that's what happens with young players, Wright, Pyke, TMD, to name just 3 Didn't look at their best, we can't keep changing the side everytime someone has a stinker, whilst not impressed with what I've seen has Deverdics ever had a run of games of 90 mins? Players need to be playing regularly before being judged on 20mins here and there.

From what I've seen our biggest problem this and a few seasons is players standing around ball watching, nobody looking or moving into space they are all static midfield and upfront, on top of that our midfield can't make simple passes a lot of the time.

Did you notice during the second half that Pearson was gesticulating to Wright who really seemed to be lost ? As you mention Wright is a young man with clear potential but he is still learning the game.
I actually think them going down to 10 confused the younger ones a little (maybe the older ones too) . Its always very easy to say go for the jugular and beat them 4-0 but that rarely happens against 10 (unless its your keeper and you don't have a sub keeper)
The only one really exploiting the space was Jennings but nobody got on the end of some useful crosses.

State of the commentary on the red card. “He’s absolutely smashed his head into him”. Erm, no he didn’t and I’m not sure he even touched him.

Whether he did or did not make contact it was the most obvious red card I have seen for a long time

H&W managed it on Tuesday night, so it should be possible for us to do something similar. Granted, Hartlepool are a better side than Maidenhead, but we should have had more shots on goal in the second-half, and hopefully one or 2 more goals.

Anyway; the game is history, and we got the invaluable 3 points. Time to move on to Gateshead, who will also be a difficult team to break down.
