Get the impression he's one of the 'characters' in the squad , hence managers like him, and keep him in the 15

Deverdics since being at the club has not played consistently as a squad player at the moment we may need him for injuries suspension and the FA trophy hard too judge players on 10 mins here and there, but we must have a scapegoat I suppose, it's amazing we're top of the league and people are looking at negatives.

Not at all, I quite like him playing as a Forward / attacking midfielder,,

In the hole between midfield and attack

Talent there for sure

There are no scapegoats only underperformers IMO.
I dont look for negatives as such but where improvements are needed.

At the moment we have more positives but doesnt mean that we cannot look at continued improvement.

Sorry but midfield players that don’t graft are fatally flawed especially at this level. Not sure why you don’t doubt he is a good player because personally I have never seen him play well.

Deverdics days are numbered. He isnt a work horse and what attributes he did have are long gone. We need better and unfortunately he will have to be offloaded.

To be mentioned in the same breath as Keates&Harris both will have to improve considerably

I think Lainton easily could

1. He started loads of games last season and was rubbish. He has started games this season and been truly awful. An absolute fraud.
2. Ten minutes here and there should still give him the opportunity to show what he can do. Yesterday with the game poised at a nervous 2-1, he got the ball on the right with Jennings in acres of space on the left. The stage wa set for him to use his legendary left peg to switch play. Instead he smashed it into some players.
3. He reminds me of Silvio Spann. The worst ever Wrexham player.

PV fans rated him and he was classsed as first choice, but he was always injured. Hopefully, his luck has changed and he has more than proved his fitness, but it doesn't impede SDR retaining/signing him.
