Well look at the record of the Lincoln manager he hasn't been poached Keates has done us a favour jumping overboard.

As for the thread well done & a well deserved manager of the month award in Sam Ricketts the one I'm looking forward to is Sam Rickets manager of the season as we win the league ☺

I'd hope they've done the same as with Keates' contract and ensured a healthy buy-out clause. You can't "prevent" someone from leaving if they want to.

Interesting that almost exactly a year ago we beat chester to go joint top with Dover (look where they are now !). We had 33 points from 19 games and a GD of 5 compared to now where we have 8 more points and a GD 11 better at 16 after exactly the same number of games. Most agree that this is a tougher league. Yes we need more goals and cover in certain areas but we are in the bunfight for sure - with a young manager of who we can be proud.
Well done Sam - you have entertained us and outstripped your predecessor statistically by quite some distance. All we ask is that you do it for another 27 games and you can have a statue outside the racecourse never mind manager of the month
