I could be wrong but Ricketts has won nothing yet for a club higher up to come knocking, it's only November plus I think he will want to complete the job at a club where his job won't be on the line after a few months hence the 3 yr deal.

Bolton fans I’ve spoken to, and I know quite a few, struggle to remember that Ricketts ever played for them.

Keates went in the new year and he is a weasel I think Sam is more of an honourable type of guy, my point about November is did anyone chase Macclesfield manager last November? Or Any of the other managers near the top? Show some faith in Sam he will want promotion on his cv, Keates when he is eventually sacked won't have anything on his.

He was their Captain at one stage. All my contacts at Bolton and, I know many of them, remember him well as a tough tackling mid-field general.
