Entertaining game, quite competitive but never nasty. Both teams and the ref. let the game flow, no histrionics after fouls. Quite a refreshing change.
Credit to Weston, they at least tried to play decent football and the first half was fairly even.
Second half we were in control for most of the rest of the match and ran out relatively easy winners with 2 good goals.

Lainton - 7 Did his job well.
Roberts, Pearson, Lawler - 7s
Jennings - 6+
Walker - 5 Seemed to stroll through the game. Not with it at times and subbed early.
Summerfield 7.5
Young -7 overall. Fairly inconspicuous in the first half but had a good second half especially when he played in the deeper midfield role.
Rutherford 7- Certainly silencing the critics with some good performances of late. Still makes a few wrong decisions but his energy and commitment is second to none and rubs off on others.
Holroyd. 6+ Works well off the ball but rarely gets into the scoring positions at the right time.
Beavon - 8 my MOM. Class act.
Wright. 7 Did a decent job when he came on playing in a more forward role. Helped to break up play and shore up the midfield but still runs too easily into trouble.
Pyke 7 Did his job well enough without breaking sweat. Appears to be lazy unless in possession.
Deverdicks. On to give Beavon a short break from the action.

Overall a decent day out. Poor viewing for the away fans but decent facilities.

QR. Maybe Walkers stroll is a reason Crewe are loaning him out.
There is no excuse for lack of effort or application by players and even more so for a midfielder. I would still prefer to see a CM that is going to be a catalyst for a passing game.
One that can hold the ball and bring Summerfield and Young into the game more.
Oh for another Keates or Fowler at this level.

Disappointed with Holroyd since last season and Dererdics is a luxury not worth having.
