Then he will have to work hard in training to displace Pearson or Lawlor IMO as he shouldn't just walk straight back in . Pearson and Lawlor have been playing well.

when manny is back up to speed i can see a 3 ,5 ,2 line up

lawlor is a better footballer than pearson , smith but not a better player

Holroyd? Every other striker at the club is ahead of him in the pecking order in my opinion and he’ll be lucky to make the bench.

Rutherford. Personally I’d play Pyke or JMD ahead of him as they are much more of an attacking threat. But we do miss his energy when he doesn’t play. Far closer call then starting Holroyd
JMD a more attacking threat than Rutherford ? - not in recent games for me. JMD can apparently produce 'moments of magic' but they are very few and far between so ,in reality, what threat does he actually pose ? Rutherford when he plays as he did against Gateshead forces errors from defenders thus creating offensive opportunities.

IMO we look much more of a 'unit' with Rutherford in the side Against Orient I think we are going to have to chase and worry them constantly - not a game for luxury players in my book.

PS I loved our all green away kit !

Fondop was scoring for fun when partnering with Beavon, so would you be tempted to go with this as nothing else seems to be working at the moment.

Fondop started the first 10 games but Beavon only started five of them with him.

Maybe Fondop needs a run of a few games with Beavon and super assist Rutherford. Pyke could then be used as sub when the opposition tires.
I just think Fondop is going through an attitude phase so how do you get him out of it?

None of the forwards have been prolific enough so I think its a question of trying to nurture our CF at least until Jan.
