Default Re: Striker issue and Who we could realistically acquire loan or permanent in January

Some hard negotiations now could work wonders with Quigley, Oswell and Kosylo.

LOL - unless Sam has a league player in mind. I think worth a separate thread to keep all suggestions here rather than on other match threads etc.

Kosylo is one player I have wanted for us in the conference

Think he's out of contract in the summer, Halifax might want to cash in on home because I can't see him being there next year.

Kosylo certainly has the ability on his day, but I think he's too petulant and too easy to wind up. If that can be trained out of him, then he could be a very useful addition.

I believe he's out of contract at the end of the season.

Good player for sure but isn't he a winger? We need a true goalscorer.

Danny Wright would still do a massive job for us. Even at his age he’d come in and be a great frontman for us for 6 months. The likes of Fondop could learn a lot off him in terms of how to play as a hold up striker.

Or a decent confident winger who can set up chances surely even our forwards can stick in the net?

Creativity is for sure an issue as well, certainly wouldn't turn him down but all depends on what budget we have. The fear is the likes of Salford driving up prices.

a winger and a goalscorer would be great, but we really need a number 9 to lead the line, unless the winger is going to put tap ins on a plate.
