Re: Salford and Wrexham
As others have said it is seeming increasingly unlikely we will get more promotion spots.
Its also unlikely that L2 and the National league could be absorbed at regional level to become an extension of the EFL. Therefore our best chance is if the National league ever bring in Financial Fair play rules similar to the EFL. But even then clubs will find ways around it. |

Financial fair play is working well in the premiere league isn't it NOT. We have to simply put get more money into the club to compete with these clubs, everytime I look at the Kop I see a rundown club. Posted via mobile theme |

I guess footballing income could then include gate receipts, merchandise, sponsorship and TV rights? That is likely a considerable amount of income for the top teams, so I'm not surprised that wages are high for the top 6 or 7. But as I said, I'm not sure how it works. But I would have thought scrutiny is probably even more intense at that high level. |

Re: Salford and Wrexham
Financial fair play cant really work when clubs like Liv,Utd can sell millions of tops worldwide and Burnley only have their fanbase. The clubs with the millions of plastic fans will always have an advantage. Id like to see the Premier league money shared out each year based on turnover to give the likes of Burnley/Cardiff/Huddersfield a better chance of closing the gap but it will never happen.
