I've just noticed a missed call from ITV Wales.

At first I thought "oh no" , It's normally some big breaking news when they call me, such as someone taking over the club or a manager leaving.

But then I thought, "no Sam is Wrexham through and through and he's going to get us promoted as Champions so it can't be that."

And our Supporters Trust is rock solid so it can't be that either.

Then I took the call and it was about The National Football Museum coming to Wrexham.

I couldn't do the piece to Camera in Wrexham at short notice, but hope Ive helped to find someone who can.

The most magnificent think to take from any of this is the strong possibility that it will be in Wrexham.

That in itself is magnificent.

The spiritual home of Welsh football deserves to be lit up by such a national investment.

Brilliant.

We Are Wrexham.

Maybe we should play for it next week - winner takes all ( we have nothing to lose)

Still we should be thankful for one thing - whilst the University of South Wales (Newport) exists there is no chance of Glyndwr reaching the bottom slot.

It’s only a recommendation to WAG. The final decision on its location will be made by ministers so I’m not holding my breath.
Somewhere south of the Heads of the Valleys would be my guess.

Part of Wrexham Museum would be ideal for this : However in spite of it being suggested Wrexham Council and Welsh Assembly had the opportunity to purchase the adjoining old Fire Station which would have been an ideal site for a Museum extension and car park.

The Council and Assembly failed to act and the Fire Station was bought by Cats Protection of all people.
Yet again no forward thinking from our councillors .

Agree and sadly our own AM who happens to be a minister is unlikely to fight her constituency’s corner.
