So okay he holds the ball up well on occasions and lays the ball off but that is not good enough from a team's main striker. What I don't understand is why the management were prepared to loan him out in the transfer window to Wrexham if they really believe he is the answer to our goal scoring problems."*

That's the one, we've tried to sign him in the past I believe so wouldn't be a big surprise to see him here. Pagl wouldn't be pleased though he's a no 10 or a wide player not an out and out centre forward

Would make sense, just what we need, a striker who couldn't hit a barn door. We need goals.

Vadaine Oliver is getting in their first team. If a player is coming from Morecambe, surely it has to be Oswell.

- we were after him for almost the entire summer
- he has barely played at Morecambe so it clearly hasn’t worked out
- Morecambe have financial issues and will need to reduce their wage bill

Don't think he's the answer. He's more of the same up front in that he isn't a great goalscorer. He's not a bad player in the right team but he's not someone I'd be super excited over if we were to sign him.

The important word there is “were”. The poster says “the management were prepared to to loan him out in the transfer window” not “are” prepared. This suggests to me that the poster is referring to the past not the present.
