Burgess loan spell over, obviously didn’t play much as our core 3-4 midfielders gave all been excellent. At least it now offers another loan space if needed.

Didn't really get a fair crack of the whip, but that was through the excellent form of Summerfield, Young, Walker and Wright. He didn't seem a bad lad, hope he does well in the future (except if he ever plays against us)

Came on as a late sub at Solihull and didn't do much to stake a claim for a regular start - not easy to come on in that game of all games that particular day as the whole team were under performing.

Things could have been different - didn't Young get injured and returned early and Summerfield was red carded but that was rejected - so all in all behind in the pecking order of Summerfield, Young, Walker, Wright and perhaps Rutherford.

I would imagine many players can relate to this scenario - sometimes players arrive at a club and hit the ground running with a stunning memorable performance that paves their way to a regular place in the team and a bright future - being in the right place at the right time shouldn't be underestimated - not forgetting that the lad was part of Macclesfield Town's title winning team.

But only short term loans. We are maxed out on long loans.

Am I reading this correctly? We can bring in a short term loan who will be with us until the end of the season!!

No as a short term loan can't be more than 93 days.

6.6.2 has to be read in conjunction with the definitions at 1.1

These state that a '“Long Term Loan” means a loan transfer in excess of 93 days of a Player who is a qualifying Player within the terms of the Rules.'

Unfortunately, I believe, we can't do anything until the transfer window opens unlike our English rivals.
