Newport’s following has always been poor , even in the promotion season it was pitiful. So why NWP are getting worked up with threats to search everybody, Heidi and co must be so dreadful there’s little point in employing them she’s a waste of Tax payers money.

Also this Newport teenage chav coming on here defending the poor following when it’s never been any different.

Any searches will be carried out by stewards as a condition of entry to the stadium - it's not a police role - the stewards already do / should carry out a cursory inspection of bags.

In reality the biggest problem is likely to be smoke bombs which are easily concealed within inner clothing - there is also a balance and proportionate response to consider - too many prolonged searches as the kick off approaches will result in queing and delays getting into the ground - in reality the problem people are those likely to arrive just prior to kick off having used up as much time as possible throwing ale down their necks.

It will not be delayed. Can't interfere with the TV schedules can we . Just thousands waiting outside to have their pockets felt by North Wales Plod before they go into a fully segregated area inside the ground.

why are people stressing about Newport fans, they'll only bring 150-250 with around 30 or s looking for trouble, i swear its the police who make everything 10 x worse in these situations
