I think it looks tacky and done on the cheap. I’m not that arsed about it though apart from the fact that other areas of the stadium are in much more need of some upgrades/decorating.

I agree.

If its meant to put the fear of God into the opposition -entering the Dragon' lair etc I would say it could backfire. Looking at our strike force on Saturday. I think there is more aggression in a "Grumble" of Pugs.

I presume Sam wanted it. Probably he has seen similar at grounds he played at higher up the leagues. My only reservation is that fans sit under a leaky roof each week, disabled fans are forced to wet pitch side views yet this is seen as the best use of funds?

Old Trafford is painted in the club's colours and has the club's crest up on the wall. Anfield again painted in club colours, with the famous original poster of the club's crest and has quotes from many of their past managers and players on the walls, which also includes a motivational pictures of all 11 players huddled together with 'one club' featuring in that huge image. Also many other things famously associated with Anfield like an image of the Kop on a European night and You'll never walk alone up on the walls.

Plenty of of clubs have done the same and that's just naming two stadiums, ours is quite modest compared to some. Not keen on the club's crest being surrounded by flames, looks like it's been set alight. Adding a few elements like seen at Anfield would be good in my opinion.
