Quigley is not the answer. When he was with us, he was injury prone a few times with his hamstring and sometimes, did not really look fit. He was a bit of a loner upfront and his link play was not particularly good. For a tall lad his aerial ability was not good and could at times be bullied by big centre halves e.g the f*t bas***d from Tranmere whose name I can't remember.

We need someone with some physical presence who can link up with Beavon and another striker who can deputise or play in instead of them.

We were saying this 12 months ago when our team had a shot shy forward line and I hope that a repeat will not happen and that we wont have to have to spend next season, a 12th year in jail.

Miller would be a good option in my opinion with a big physical striker playing alongside him.

I doubt if we will be able to capture a prolific striker in Jan so we need two less prolific who together can chip in with say 5-10 goals each between January and end of the season.

A lot of people are saying break the bank for a striker. I don't think Quigley is the answer.
