How much compensation do you reckon we'll get when Sam Rickets takes over at Shrewsbury?

The casual supporters are already pissing themselves at us being down here so long, they don’t really need to ask why now do they?

If he goes stick Barrow in charge and let him pick his assistant. I think Barrow could well kick on with this team.
Didn't a certain Mr Wilkin leave Nuneaton when they were in a play off position?

I judge them on the fact they have 2,400 at home against Charlton, when Charlton probably brought 500. Tinpot

Like I say, a terrible take. They’re the best club they can be, despite their size and them doing business in a way you can’t get your head round.

Its all a bit farcical now.
If he is going to go it won't be announced until after the weekend IMO.

If he doesn't go, great. We concentrate on strengthening and giving promotion a good shout.

If he goes, disappointing. But we get a new guy in fast and concentrate on strengthening and giving promotion a good shout.

Personally, I don't begrudge teams like Burton their success. They have built on promotion and are doing very well. Much as it pains me to say it, so are Fleetwood.

If anything, I'm just jealous of their places in the Football League. But then I can say that about Grimsby or Crewe.

Do I think we have a right to be in the league over the so called 'tinpot' clubs? No, because they have earned their place there (even if we are scathing of the money flung at it).

We are where we are for a reason. We are a non league team, we need to accept that and move on to concentrating on becoming a league team once again. None of this League team in the wrong place stuff.

The club have said they use a standard manager's contract which states they can sack him for 'x' amount and he can be released for 'y' amount. It's unlikely length of contract remaining has any bearing on it.

They have attendances below 2k in league one. Most football fans would agree this is tinpot. I’d imagine they’re spending money they haven’t got.

It’s bizarre, it’s like the owner of a local shop claiming to be the better one when other shops have double and more customers.

He can resign, however he may find it difficult to work again in football as the club will hold his registration, if the contract isn't followed. As for going AWOL Steve Bruce did this and had to pay out, as the club who escape me wouldn't release his registration and he had to take them to court before moving to Birmingham.
