I’m excited at the thought of Askey, very likeable bloke and he wants to play attacking football too.

Seems the logical choice. I also don't think Ricketts should be in charge tomorrow.

He wouldnt come on a week to week contract. He’d want at least a season and a half.

Anyway what if we were in the playoffs in the middle of March and he decided to leave for a rival?

Not sure I care anymore. As the saying goes it's the hope that gets you in the end. Let's just get someone in that'll keep us ticking along in mid-table without too much excitement. No-one too good in case they get poached.

At one time we had one of the longest-serving managers in football. We are now looking for our SEVENTH manager in FOUR years...just let that sink in, seven managers, four years...
