Grant has even said he hopes to do well this month and is open to staying signing a contract... But if these still not officially confirmed rumours are true then that will probably change as it was Ricketts who got him here.

Would you have any issues with us poaching a manager from 2 leagues below? In those circumstances I wouldn't assume he lacks character, but assume he is taking an opportunity.

For all the talk about big clubs and tin pot clubs, I doubt many managers think in those terms. Factors such as salary, length of contract, place in the pyramid and financial backing are far more relevant.

I really hope that all this crap doesn't detract from this evenings game. Focus from everyone should be 100% on the team and not Sam.
