Mr shifter is still our manager if negotiations break down at the farmers arms then what? Can we afford to smack him? Oops sack him? Although smack sounds better.

Why do supporters keep resurrecting this ? DF had a brief few purple patches ,usually supported by lots of money ,but lots of failures eg Preston etc .
I have just listened to Graham Barrows post match interview and what a find he is !! He is no primadonna and a real football man .his comments were thoughtful and full of praise for the club , and his insight into the views of the players was fantastic. That is what the club is about and it's the combination between management and players that will give us success . Please don't break it up by jetting in someone else give Graham the job if he wants it !!

As many have said - I do not believe he does want it but he wants to stay presumably as assistant.

Did you watch all of the interview? He says he is happy to continue as assistant, he even more or less says he was sounded out about taking over

This I did not get from the interview - but staying at the club was ,for me, loud and clear.

I would have thought Darlington and Barrow together have the knowledge of the game to point the Board in the right direction for the appointment of the next boss.
I genuinely hope Barrow stays. He's handled himself very professionally in the last few days

Barrow was still in shock I think after only finding out that morning, he is obviously not comfortable talking infront of the camera 😉 see I can read people's expressions and actions, I've met plenty of snakes and backstabbing t***s in my time I'm an old git now like Barrow 😉
