Notwithstanding your trolling, of course its a big step up. What is particularly galling is that 4 months ago he was asked the specific question if he would be off at the first chance (following what Keates did last season) and he flatly refused.

Says a bit about his character unfortunately. It's a good opportunity for him but given his I experience it's highly likely that if he doesn't do well at Shrewsbury he'll l be binned off pretty quickly. If he'd had a good season with us he'd be in a much better position to get a better job on better T&Cs.

With Keates and Ricketts going the way they have, there must be something fundamentally wrong with this club, maybe they just can’t stand Spencer’s squeaky voice.
