Default New Manager

Apparently Dixie was showing big Dennis around last Saturday. When asked what are you Doing here big Den replied I am here for a job.
Also being shown around was Garry Brabin the ex Tranmere manager.
This has been building for the past week.
I have also been informed that Ricketts will not be in charge for tonight's game.
I hope I am wrong on both accounts.
IF we win tonight.
I think what a wonderful club this would be to manage.
We are well positioned in the league
Have money to spend
Compensation from Shrewsbury Town.
Great fan base.
Fantastic stadium.
There has never been a better time to manage the mighty reds.
We need to stick together and hope this is another chapter in out history.

A believable windup until you mentioned Brabin.

I hope Askey has 'already been sorted' and starts first thing Monday morning just as soon as Judas has cleared his desk and locker.

like I've stated before its no good getting ambitious managers who just wont stay. lets go for someone with limited ambition to match the needs of our board . a good solid non league manager. cos believe me non league we are staying. ENDS

Allen is doing such a great job at Chesterfield isn't he?! Hurst is a may be but think he'd be a rat too and leave if any higher club approached

Indeed. I won't want 'Mad Dog's anywhere near us.

Askey asap for me - very efficient manager, knows the league inside out (might even know some strikers!) and will be highly motivated to put his Shrewsbury experiences behind him. Onwards and upwards.
