The smoke bomb was red and it was thrown from the Tech End - two thirds back up the rows of seats - as others have said he would have had to stand up, and unlike a terrace there was no hiding place.
Strangely hurled the smoke bomb when we were on the offensive - it created a nice screen to aid the Newport defenders and hamper Fondop.
Crowd saw him and turned on him - he did indeed get a slap for his trouble and was escorted out by security and no doubt (?) handed over to the police.
Stewards moved into the crowd and I got the impression there were a fair few supporters prepared to be witnesses.
The perpetrator wasn't a teenager or kid - looked a bit older.
Lets hope he gets a lifetime ban and the kitchen sink thrown at him - total xxxx hole.

The club's stewards and police acted quickly to deal with this idiot. Lets hope the authorities take this into account when they decide on a fine for the club.

What a complete tool!

From the Daily Post website.

A North Wales Police spokesman said: "A carefully planned operation ensured the match passed off without major incident. Unfortunately two home fans were arrested, one for assault and one for throwing a flare. They will be dealt with.

You'd hope not, because the idiot deserved a thump for being such a donut.
