Noticed with all thats gone on with SR,Well done to everyone who got on their feet last night for a great minutes applause to our departed friend SARGE and to all Newport fans who joined in,sadly missed but never forgotten.

I'll add that most Newport fans joined in as well. Football is nothing without fans.

Indeed - just watched the match recording on BT Sport - it was a shame the commentary team couldn't have given 'Sarge' a quick mention - the applause was very audible but must have left the rest of the BT Sport viewing public wondering what it was for.

A nice memorable send off from the Wrexham faithful that hopefully eased the pain for his family.

Andy Morrell commentating on Radio Wales mentioned it and said he knew Sarge from his time here
