He only has to say he was intrigued by what they had to say..... Say he slept on it and realised that they weren't a club with the same potential as Wrexham and he'd be welcomed back a hero!

If he's not been in touch to apologise and say he's staying we contact him to tell him there's no way back whatever happens.

We shouldn't allow ourselves to look bigger mugs than we already do

Ricketts has to go. He could have point black said he wasn't interested in Shrewsbury two weeks ago - but he didn't did he - I seriously think this has been bubbling behind the scenes for a fortnight - expecting Ricketts to be gone any time soon and hopefully by our next match Askey is in place.

Seems to me Sam had his head turned and thought he could sail through the league's at some speed.
4 months at a national league side isn't really a yardstick for rapid advancement.
If he believes he has made a rash decision (who hasn't) I for one would have him back provided he apologised to the fans board staff and importantly the players.

I would say there’s absolutely no coming back from this. It’s gone to far, and an apology won’t fix it. No one is bigger than this club. Hope he fails miserably and gets chlamydia.
