Players would not sign for AM he had no drive, no ruthless streak and he was a plodder. I don't want that for our club. Its about AM personally but his personality. Look at the decline under him, it was staggering. Strong opinions on this yes but only because it would be a disaster if he returned IMO. Prediction right there now. What is it with fans on here wanting old players/managers back. Remember I was advocating Keates long before he was flavour of the month on here and saving our skins post Mills. |

Seems to have been coaching but isn’t that what we have Barrow for? We need a manager, a decision maker and someone that will bring players in. My thoughts are Watson, Parkinson types. Not convinced with the cries for Askey. |

Hadn't seriously considered Morrell but your logic is certainly not flawed - he was by a country mile our most successful manager. The only thing that would point me more towards DL is his previous working relationship with GB.

Re: Profile of New Manager
Some of you might think I’m being silly, but our training ground situation isn’t doing us any favours. The trust need to work hard to ensure we are able to use the new facility at Colliers, kick up a fuss in the media, contact the Welsh FA etc.
This is where our players and staff spend most of their time isn’t it. To be fair I haven’t been down to nine acre, but I can’t imagine it being up to the standard we probably need. I think this could be more of an issue than we think.

Re: Profile of New Manager
No to the above, although I do think it’s more of an issue than some think, with regards to recruiting and the general happiness of our back room staff. Is that ok with you Benjamin?
