Profile of New Manager
I know that at this point we of time we don’t have a vacancy ,but with the number of appointments the WST have made there are some clues.
Prefer unattached applicants ,especially mid way through a season. Would want applicant to work with existing back room staff. Knowledge of National league. Good business plan to achieve promotion within the budget set. Contacts to make signings in January. Affordable. Ability to work with trust and communicate well with fans. Must be able to motivate existing players. The position will be advertised with a short application period. |
Re: Profile of New Manager
Or cut the time wasting out and John Askey to start 0900 am tomorrow morning ?
As possibly negotiated over the last 2 weeks to coincide with Ricketts departure ? Nothing should surprise us anymore. |

Re: Profile of New Manager
He's got to be big and strong, enough to turn me on.

Re: Profile of New Manager
I think we should just appoint one of us from here..
We've done rookies - they haven't stayed long We've done league winners - didn't they do well? so what next? Getting Askey is no guarantee of promotion. Mills also won the conference... |

Re: Profile of New Manager
Somebody young and upcoming. Let them apply.
Hopefully Carl Darlington knows someone. It needs to be someone who is able to work with Barrow etc. |
Re: Profile of New Manager
I should think the interveiwers are getting better at sussing out candidates after the last two , the building of a team around the Manager seems the way to go , as Ricketts has done , that's in place so it gotta be someone who can work with present staff , otherwise could cost a fortune .
