Ricketts was just interviewed on talksport for 5 mins or so:. (not sure if it's possible to listen to somewhere)

When asked was it difficult to leave said -Difficult to leave because gave him a start (sounded insincere) and because the clubs in the best position it's been in on and off the field for 10-15 years. Making sure to sight his FA Cup run as being the big financial win. Not the fact the board work their arses off to clear the debt and improve turnover and the fans fund the club.

Again no thanks to club, players or fans. Very unlikeable.

Asked if wishes hed left in better circumstances:
Sounds like he's had a big bust up with people at the club saying that what's being reported as events isn't correct and that one day the truth will come out. Sounded a bit shaky voiced like he was gonna have a little weep.

Then the same old silver tongued shite he says in every interview about horse racing and his philosophy on football and how great he is for playing in all the league's.

We are so well rid! He's seen Hurst jump from shrews to Ipswich and thought.... Ahhh that's my next stepping stone.

He won’t praise us because the board and the fans have quite rightly made their views clear to him. I can’t wait for the day we play a team managed by him at The Racecourse. Few people will experience the kind of reception he will.

We were around top this time last year...ok we were out the fact cup but we set club record for clean sheets. Thinks he's a god!

Your the dim one as proved by your countless posts on this topic. How would he walk for nothing if there is no release clause (as I suggested), he can't as Shrewsbury would never have tapped him up in the first place as there would be no release clause to pay off. You pay more to have a more robust contract not every manager has to have a release clause you know.
