Re: Ricketts gone - OFFICIAL
Id like to ask our ex managers how different it is to work for a fans run club, does it make a difference in regards to loyalty? If you have a good relationship with a decent Chairman id imagine its a bit easier. We cant take the risks that some clubs can and I bet this makes a difference when looking at your long term future if your hands are tied. I know you agree to this before signing but it may be frustrating.
This is just a thought as there is a pattern emerging in losing personnel with awful timing. By no means am I having a go at anyone just wondering how it compares.

I thinks the limited funds available compared to a sugar daddy or well run club with money could be a reason. That plus are we as competitive salary wise who knows? it could be they looking at other sides and see more ambition as we have been down here 10 yrs and counting and not made the play offs in years,so maybe they see it as lacking of ambition again who knows? we just look at things from a fans angle, take Bobby Grant arriving from little supported Fleetwood, he was really surprised to see our great support against Orient a lot of our fans probably myself included at times dwell on the glorious past hence some salivating at the Prospect of Big Den being our manager a distant past of being a biggish club, but young players barely remember us being in the league 10 yrs is a long time in football. One thing I've noticed is the 2 year plan has died a death, probably because no manager will last that long. Posted via mobile theme |

Fundamentally, we need some strikers who can score goals, and better delivery to them.
