One thing I've noticed is the 2 year plan has died a death, probably because no manager will last that long.

It’s surely simply that teams that are two leagues higher, so Walsall and Shrewsbury, have a lot more money than us. Just as regards tv income and Premier League solidarity payments, they are in receipt of approximately £1.5 million a year, whereas I believe Vanarama League teams are in receipt of around £80k a year.

Well run or not, or even with a sugar daddy owner, how do we make up that £1.5m a year to allow us to compete with them for managers or players? Simply put, we can’t.

Exactly. If we were having managers poached by teams in our league I'd be worried. League 1 teams are always going to be offering more money than a Conference team. I have no doubt we pay competitive salaries for both players and staff.

I never said we could compete against league one clubs I was answering a question of how I think others from outside the club may look at us, I'm not saying my opinion is right and of course the reasons you stated they have an advantage.

Had a little peep at the Slops forum .
Had to laugh at one town fan posting
'It’s cool that many members give the most vile of abuse to a man who left the club,(HurstI think he means) and are now welcoming with open arms a guy who just jetisoned a club midway through, basically the same thing. Some of you fossils, I mean people make Man Utd fans look like quiet, considerate and brilliant. I look forward to him doing well and then leaving for better things and the hitler-Esque reactions that come from it.'

Oh it got a good reception

Sam was never good enough to play for England so jumped to Wales so he could get international football. Its no surprise hes jumped ship at the first opportunity from Wrexham. That said, I am not at all bothered, the football has been dull to watch, if it wasn't for our defence he'd have been sacked
