I was just thinking the same, maybe he will do a gig with the Stones at the Cae Ras next Summer.. 🤔 more chance of John Barnes becoming the manager.

Agree. Ultimately, it's the Board's decision to ask for advice, but their decision to appoint a new manager. Anyone who thinks otherwise is well wide of the mark!

Andy Morrison

Having transformed the Connah’s Quay Nomads, by leading them to top two finishes, as well as Welsh Cup triumph last season, the Scotsman’s stock has never been higher. Having played in the English pyramid before, Morrison is no stranger.

The 48-year-old has had the experience of working with a number of non-league players, so would be knowledgeable to the area he would be managing in, as well as the division.

Craig Harrison

Having managed Hartlepool United last season, the Connah’s Quay Nomads first-team coach may fancy joining former New Saints coach Carl Darlington at the Racecourse Ground.

His New Saints side were dominant in his times at Park Hall, as they entered the Guinness World Records book for their unbeaten run in his final season in charge.

He managed Bangor City earlier this season but having been unable to spearhead a promotion push with the Citizens after their demotion, he now works alongside two coaches/managers who possess the UEFA Pro Licence.

READ The three Barry Town United players who could make an impact in the Welsh Premier League
Wrexham isn’t that far from Harrison’s base and could use his contacts to make an impact at Wrexham. Harrison had a playing career in England where he played for clubs like Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough and Preston North End.

Kevin Nicholson

This ambitious young manager lead Bangor City to their highest league finish last season. After leaving the Citizens following their demotion to the Cymru Alliance, Nicholson has yet to make a move anywhere else.

Having worked with Cardiff City’s youth team, before moving into senior management with Bangor City, the 32-year-old is one of the youngest coaches to obtain a UEFA Pro Licence.

Nicholson may not have had a playing career, but has had a lengthy coaching career, starting from a young age, with attention to detail.

“Could current and former Welsh Premier League managers be considered for Wrexham job?”
