He is the current manager of Trinidad and Tobago. Before that he was a coach at Everton, and before that Wigan - so a strong connection with Barrow too.

As replied above current t@t manager. In role since January last year, i believe his current contract expires soon.

Having a look at his results they are not great, but uphill struggle really in that setup.

As much as I love Big Den and he has great coaching pedigree, I’d prefer to go with the lesser risk option of Askey. Knows the league, worked on a shoe string, recruits well, got promotion last year, local, decent footy, hopefully won’t jump ship given his experience at Shrewsbury, can fit under doorways easily.
